NJ/NY Gotham FC (6th, down from 3) are having another slow burner – one win, one goal in four (1-1-2). Solid defensively, mind, only shipping two all season. Washington Spirit (5th) are winless (0-1-3) but second in xG (6.9) and possession (59%). Just need that click.

Orlando Pride (4th) drew blank with Gotham, first time star Babra Banda was shut out. Drilled defence, elite finisher – depth's the worry. Portland Thorns (3rd, from 1) get a boost from Sophia Wilson's maternity comeback – class showing in that shutout versus Current, with Reilyn Turner and Pietra Tordin lurking.
